"This morning [sometime before 02/17/04], Tom and crew attempted to move the BA Concord from in front of the Museum to across East Marginal Way. The weather did not cooperate and it seems that this 200,000lb-plus Mach 2 beauty was much more than the tug could handle. The last thing the Museum wanted to do was to have to contact to City of Tukwila (a suburb of Seattle) and tell them that East Marginal Way would be closed the rest of the weekend because there was a 206 foot-long jet in the street. So, part two of the move is next Saturday, the 17th, when Boeing will supply one of their wide-body tugs, and a more robust tow bar..." -Jim
